In brief: Man accused of ‘unlawful intercourse’ with girl found dead on SOMA street found competent for trial

A man accused of ‘unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor’ with respect to 16-year-old Victorria Moran-Hidalgo – the girl found dead on a SOMA street in 2022 – has been found fit to stand trial after doubts were raised as to his competency.

Earlier this month a court reinstated criminal proceedings against Javonn Allen. They had been paused while a determination about competency was made.
